About the Show

Malachi O’Doherty is an Irish writer specialising in politics, religion and culture. He has published five books:

The Trouble With Guns: Republican Strategy and the Provisional IRA (Blackstaff 1998), I Was A Teenage Catholic (Marino 2003), The Telling Year: Belfast 1972 (Gill and Macmillan 2007), Empty Pulpits (Gill and Macmillan 2008) and Under His Roof (Summer Palace 2009).

Malachi is a regular contributor to several BBC programmes and records packaged reports for a religious affairs programme, Sunday Sequence on Radio Ulster.
